CURRENT WORK
All of the pieces here are one of a kind, fused glasswork. Each piece goes through several firings in my kilns, employ many different techniques throughout the creative process, and are often finished by hand, during the cold work, sanding, and polishing stages. All of my glasswork is food safe and can be occasionally cleaned in the dishwasher. Take a look around, and contact me, if you have questions or are interested in purchasing something here on this page.
Bowls
This 12" diameter bowl is a celebration of deep cobalt blue and strips of opaque and transparent greens, blues and whites. Transparent colors spill onto the surface below.

The patterns on this 12" diameter green and warm white bowl were inspired by architectural herringbone patterns found on the arched ceilings of the historic Carnegie Library building in Washington, DC.
|
I had a desire mix up my color palette a bit and chose this rich opaque plum with a dynamic line art patten in blue that is a hat top to Japanese seigaiha printmaking images.
|
Every spring, I fall in love with all the beautiful phlox that blooms throughout my DC neighborhood. This piece celebrates that phlox flower pattern in a scattering of oval transparent windows set in gorgeous teal.
|
I just had to have some fun with plum, ovals and complimentary yellow/green lines. This 12" bowl also has a fun pink underbelly and secret transparent green lines that give up their locations on the surface below the bowl!
|
Mink and pink with red herringbone patterns!
|
I offset this mid tone, powder blue bowl with a dynamic coral pattern on a transparent window. The patterns on the adjacent surface area are just lovely.
|
This 12" diameter piece celebrates complimentary teal and orange, while playing with cloud patterns not only on the glass, but on the surface area below.

Plates
Trays. Squares, and Sushis
This selection of Squares, Trays, and Sushis all explore color, pattern, opacity and transparency. I enjoy working in series, exploring a certain design layout or shape in various colors or patterns. Other ideas and series are often born from that exploration.
This is the first in the Zen and Chaos series - an exploration of calm fields of color, clean and dependable patterns, encircling frenetic and chaotic energy.
|
This large tray was also part of the Zen and Chaos series - a need to find solace and to orient during unsettled times.

A Selection of Soap Dishes*
* While I may call these fun little guys "soap dishes", they can be anything your little heart desires - spoon rests, a place for loose change, jewelry, thumb drives, sponges, tiny shells and pebbles....
I often use the smaller form factor of a soap dish as a "sketch" idea, before I expand it into a larger piece. I find the creative process for these soaps to be fast, fresh, and visually unburdened.
Here's a sampling of soap dishes and coasters available. Contact me for availability of these and other inventory!
